Nothing made her feel smaller than his strength. That he could so easily lift her and carry her around, that he could stop her with a single hand, grab both wrists with just those four fingers, and her genuinely not being able to get away. It was an unparalleled thrill. 

And she’d abuse it. She’d jump at him, so that he would catch her, wrap those big arms around her little body and just hold her like that. Her arms would lace around his neck, and she’d dangle, revelling in how solid he felt, marvelling at the reality of him. 

Or she’d throw a hand at his chest, force him to react, to grab at her, wrestle her down, pin her to the floor. Those were her favourite moments, where the weight of him literally bore down on her, a few strong points that kept her still, but made her shake. 

It made those times when he used a softer touch, when he restrained himself, all the more important. To know how strong he could be meant that each time he didn’t use that strength that much more special. It was in his personality, too. The strength of his Dominance was highlighted, reinforced, even, in those times when his manner softened. When it visibly filed away its edges, and enveloped her. 

She told a lie. It wasn’t his strength that made her feel smallest. It was how his strength made the rest of him come into such sharp relief.
